Lights in the Sky.

The Perseid meteor shower, which has been observed annually for 2000 years, took place late last night and early this morning. Although I didn’t have a chance to view for myself, folks today have been posting spectacular photos of the event online. My favorite is shown below, captured by Kieran Doherty and showcased by The Wall Street Journal.
