[Video] “Love The Game”

The NBA is in the midst of a lockout as labor negotiations take place, which has led to the cancellation of a number of games. 

Basketball games are not the only things being missed during the lockout however, as frequency of the basketball related commercial spots have also lessened.  The latest such commercial comes from Nike/Jordan Brand which follows Team Jordan basketball stars as they try to cope with the lockout and play wherever there is a game… all because they “Love the Game.”

Brian Wilson will teach you how to stunt!

San Francisco Giants’ closer Brian Wilson has been spotted rocking the super exclusive Marty McFly’s (Nike Air MAG) in the dugout.  Released in limited numbers in eBay auctions only, the first pair went to an anonymous bidder for $37,500.  Who cares about the tobacco spit and sunflower seeds getting these kicks dirty, B.Wilson bought two pair!  Stuntastic!

You’re looking at Nike’s sprawling 40,000 sq ft “Nike Air Hangar.”  Located right outside of Portland, Oregon, this hangar is the home of 3 Nike owned Gulfstream G5 executive jets.  In addition to space for flight planning and airplane maintenance, the facility provides amenities for travelers and pilots such as a lounge, exercise facilities, executive suites, meeting space, and a gourmet kitchen.  All of this was done because as we all know; “Greyhound don’t float on water.”

Kobe Bryant is Hollywood!

Congrats are in order for NBA star Kobe Bryant.  Yesterday, while the rest of NBA nation was busy with All-Star weekend business,  just a short drive from Staples Center, Kobe was busy becoming the first athlete (and second person outside of the movie industry) to be enshrined at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

If you were wondering what shoes he wore for the imprint, they are his latest Zoom Kobe VI “3D/Hollywood” colorway.

Chris Paul and The New Orleans Hornets lost their game vs. The Indiana Pacers tonight, but Chris Paul was still a winner. 

During the game, Jordan Brand released Chris Paul’s “Quick Can’t Be Caught” campaign with a series of commercials showcasing CP3’s superior speed and agility.  Check it out below, but don’t blink, each commercial is just 5 seconds long!

God Shammgod has the best basketball handling skills I’ve ever seen.  A New York City street ball legend with a brief stint in the NBA, his moves on the court have influenced 10yr old kids at the park to the arguably best player in the world, Kobe Bryant.
